This booklet is an exploration of fifty posters inspired by the type and forms in his title page for the avant-garde opera, “Victory Over The Sun.” With each iteration of these posters, I tried a different approach. Monotony is something I wish to avoid in my design work. I leveraged any element I could, and transformed it into original works. The only use of red in his original poster was a small handwritten number 18. Regardless, I leveraged it as a primary color. While printing the booklet, the printer seemingly malfunctioned. This created the streaks that are present throughout the booklet. Although a technical error, I embraced their imperfections, since their imperfections added texture to the iterations and added some variety to the otherwise three tone system.
